Extended Child Care is a community based private, non-profit agency whose mission is to provide quality child care that supports children, families, school districts, employers, and the community.

ECC has been in operation for over 25 years. It is a management service for school districts with on site child care, serving families enrolled at the school and providing subsidized care for eligible families. Extended Child Care currently provides child care for the Mark West, Wright and Windsor school districts at ten different school sites.

The organization has a Board of Directors made up of parents using the program and interested community members. All Extended Child Care centers are licensed facilities and follow regulations provided by Community Care Licensing, the Child Develop. Division of the California State Department of Education, the school districts served, and the Extended Child Care Board of Directors.
