Fee Structure: Rates for child care are set by the Extended Child Care Coalition Board of Directors. Rates are based upon per month/per child and are determined by your child's schedule. Your bill is based on your enrolled or contracted schedule. Click here for each center's tuition schedule
Registration Fee and Returning Families: Extended Child Care charges a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of the enrollment appointment. This is a per family fee. Families who were previously enrolled in the Extended Child Care program and are returning to care after being out of our program for one year or more are charged the $50.00-non refundable registration fee.
Monthly Rate: Our monthly rate covers care provided throughout the school year, either before and after school or after school only. Monthly rates include care on all non-school weekdays during Winter Break, Spring Break, service days, and some holidays. Your child can attend on any non-school day when he or she would normally be attending school. For example, if your child has a Monday-Wednesday-Friday school schedule, he or she can attend care on non-school Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays but not on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The monthly billing allows parents to determine and budget ahead of time what their monthly childcare bill will be each month.
Special Rates: K-Time Rates and Before School Only Rates: Our monthly rates for K-time and before school only care apply to care provided throughout the school year. Families are billed at a monthly rate for this type of care. However these rates do not include any of the non school days and are not eligible for Vacation Credit. If care is needed for non school days, families will be billed as they use those days.
Payments & Due Date: Bills are sent out approximately 5 days prior to the first working day of each month. Payment terms are due upon receipt and are delinquent after the 10th of each month. Payments can be made in person at the main office. We accept cash, checks, debit and credit card payments with Visa and MasterCard. Payments called in to the main office or made through our secure website can be made with your debit or credit card Visa or MasterCard. Beginning August 1, 2012, we implemented a monthly late tuition payment fee of $20.00 to those accounts that are past due and delinquent.
Late Pick Up Fees: All centers close promptly at 6:00 p.m. Cell phone times are used to determine the exact time of pick up. All late pick-ups will generate a fee. You will be charged a minimum of $15.00 for the first five minutes and $1.00 for every minute after. For example: If you arrive to pick up your child at 6:08 p.m., your charge will be $18.00. This charge will be applied to your next month's bill. Repeated "Late Pick Ups" (in excess of three) may result in the termination of your childcare services. If you are going to be late, please call the center. It helps both the center staff and your child prepare for your late arrival.
Cancellation of Child Care: During the school year as well as summer, families are required to give Extended Child Care a 2-week notice when cancelling your child's care. Notification must be called in to the main office 2 weeks or 10 business days prior to your child's last day of care.
