Meet the Board of Directors
Kaye Moore, President
Kaye is a Human Resources Technician III for Santa Rosa City Schools and she is currently serving as ECC Board President. She has been in Human Resources for 5 years. She holds a Master’s in Education from Sonoma State University. She is a mom to two boys who are now 16 and 13 years old. Her youngest son attended ECC when he was in Kindergarten and loved his time with the ECC staff. She joined the ECC board in 2019. She enjoys camping, hiking, working on her and enjoying time with her boys in her free time.
Carmen Marinsik, Treasurer
Carmen attended the University of Lima and earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting, International Business and English. She is currently employed in the wine making department of Korbel Champagne Cellars. Carmen was born and raised in Lima, Peru and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She came to the United States in 1988. She has two sons who both attended Extended Child Care programs.
Lara Magnusdottir, Secretary
Lara was born and raised on the north coast of Iceland. She holds a BA in Modern Languages and a MPA in International Public Administration. Lara is the Public Policy Director at 4CVs Sonoma County where she has served in various capacities since 2006. Lara has two sons, a 28-year-old artist and illustrator living in Portland, OR and a 21-year old Astrophysics major attending UC Santa Cruz who also attended Extended Child Care at Mark West from Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Amanda Erlendson
Amanda was born and raised in Sonoma County. She is the proud mom of three. Her oldest is currently serving the Navy and her two daughters attend ECC after school. One of her main goals in life is to ensure kiddos are happy, healthy and safe. She has been volunteering with an International service organization, the Active 20-30 club, since 2010 and was has served on the National Board. She had works for the County of Sonoma Family, Youth & Children’s Services and is pursuing a degree in Psychology through Arizona State University. In her free time, she likes to bake (her nickname is “Cookies”), spend outdoor time with her family including her dog, Kenobi, as well as read everything she can get her hands on!
Emilie Smith
Emilie is the Grants Coordinator at the Sonoma County Indian Health Project, Inc.. She is currently a candidate for the master’s in public administration program at Sonoma State University with an emphasis in Public Management. Emilie has worked in mental health program development for at-risk youth in Sonoma County for the past decade before becoming a stay-at-home mom of two. Her work experience includes youth residential and community care, program development and advocacy, training development, and strategic planning. Emilie is an advocate for policy development that supports early childhood development and parental retention efforts. As a mom of two, she enjoys spending time with family, art, and being in nature.
