Each individual who works in an Extended Child Care center is an important link in the agency's ability to provide the best possible child care for each family and school that uses our services. The agency strives to provide a work environment that respects each individual and allows he/she to grow and be successful.
Extended Child Care provides employees with experienced, caring, and innovative supervision. Supervision is regular and constructive with the goal of creating a supportive workplace where quality child care can be maintained. Training is an important element in helping each staff member develop skills to work with children, families, co-workers, and the community. Extended Child Care employees are offered regular opportunities to attend training's in a variety of areas, including supervision, curriculum, and child development. |
Are you interested in sharing talents such as dance, drama, storytelling, visual arts, handcrafts, songs/rhythms/music of different cultures, science experiments, magic, or group games? Or have a desire to help serve and influence children within the Santa Rosa community?
Each individual who volunteers in an Extended Child Care center is an important link in the agency's ability to provide the best possible program for each child and family that uses our services. Under the supervision of the Center Director and other Center teaching staff, volunteers help supervise groups of children, help present curriculum, help maintain the facility and help prepare meals and snacks. |

Cash donations are always welcome! Your donation will be used to provide supplemental curriculum materials and presenters for the Centers. If you would like to donate to a particular center, please indicate that when donating. In addition to cash donations there are many items we can always use at our centers. |
